Executive Vice President
Harvey Barry
VisionWorks Unlimited, LLC
President / Creative Director
http://www.visionworksunlimited.com
Harvey Barry began his commercial art career as a graphic designer for the publications department of Rutgers University in New Jersey. Three years later he accepted the position of Art Director at the UJA-Federation in New York City where he created and produced promotional and fund raising literature, direct mail pieces and advertising for national campaigns as well as local trade groups.
After five years, Harvey moved on to Pinwheel, a NYC art studio, where he served for nine years as vice president of sales and account management departments, with an advisory role in the creative department. Here he was responsible for projects produced for many of New York City’s largest advertising agencies, TV production studios, and major corporations.
Projects include campaigns for:
• Winston cigarettes
• Pepsi-Cola logo redesign
• CBS Entertainment Videos
• Twizzlers licorice
• Hershey’s Hugs
• Equitable Insurance and American Express logos
Ready to end his commute to New York, Harvey joined a Design Studio in northwest New Jersey with similar responsibilities in account management, marketing strategy and creative consulting. Major accounts included M&M Mars, American Home Products and Binney & Smith (Crayola division).
In July of 1998 Harvey formed his own creative design firm, VisionWorks Unlimited. He offers creative design and marketing services that help small and mid-sized businesses sell more in less time. According to Harvey, the name of the game is integrated marketing. He says “It is my responsibility to educate my clients to the importance of a well planned marketing strategy. Sure, I can design compelling graphics for an advertisement, a product package, or a sales kit, but its effectiveness is diminished if it is not supported by an on-going and cohesive campaign. The message must be clear and consistent across all media used.”
Harvey has judged numerous award shows for the Jersey Shore Public Relations and Advertising Association (JSPRAA), the Art Directors Club of New Jersey (ADCNJ) and the New Jersey Communications, Advertising and Marketing Association (NJ CAMA). He is presently an active participant with the Network of Writers and Artists (NOWA) and NJ CAMA; and has been on the board of directors for the ADCNJ, the Business Marketing Association – NJ (BMA-NJ), and the Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce.

Previous CAMA Board and Committee service: President, ASTRA Chair, Technology Conference Chair
Although I was not old enough to be one of the original “Mad Men” I certainly worked with a few on Madison Avenue who were. I pride myself in being a student of the art and science of our profession. Over the years I’ve found the CAmA membership able to fulfill any advertiser or agency need at a high-level – strategically and creatively. The CAMA membership offers an affordable alternative to NYC or Philadelphia resources. This year I’m pleased to serve my second year as President but have been just as fulfilled to call myself “member”. Someone recently asked me how, as part of a global marketing organization the size of Bank of America, has CAMA helped my company? I’ve hired talent I met through CAMA as employees, consultants and suppliers and they’ve made my job easier.

Brian Hasenkamp
Principal Strategist
Asenka Interactive
https://asenka.com
Brian owns and leads Asenka Interactive, a strategic marketing company with a focus in digital space. Asenka serves small to medium sized businesses with custom website development, digital marketing services and CMO-level analytical consulting.
Coming up through the ranks of Direct Mail, Publishing and traditional Advertising agencies, Brian got a feel for process, the goods & bads and took it all in for about 10 years. Through it all he noticed a distinct lack of solid defensible rationale in the creative being developed and pitched. Somewhat disenchanted, Brian sought to find a place where his passion for logic and data could enhance his creative pursuits.
Everything began to gel when the digital market started to take off around the millennium. Brian started off on the path of all things digital, without leaving his past behind. Brian started Asenka in 2002 and it has steadily grown with the technology. Asenka’s work embodies the strategic foundation Brian has always cherished but extends through the creative campaigns and problem solving that happens on a regular basis with both digital marketing and technology. He’s quite content now to be able to leverage all the creative training along with the digital tracking tools which have evolved into his own matrix for analyzing the effectiveness of digital campaigns that include a key focus on quality, not just quantity.
Brian most enjoys family time with his wife and two boys. When time beyond that avails, you’ll find him on the mountain bike trails, in the garage working on his Mustang restoration project, or on a rare day, even at the race track. Brian and his family are active in their church as well, helping out wherever it’s needed.
